I am looking for recommendations for an ergonomic coder laptop running Ubuntu well.

I think many would recommend the lenovo T or P series.
btw: I have not had good experiences with lenovo notebooks.
Enterprise high-end model of any brand from five years ago. Whatever's selling second hand.
I'm a cheapskate, I admit, but the bathtub curve is real. Let the first owners weed out the lemons...
The Framework laptop is my top recommendation! Thinkpads are nice too, but pretty pricy. The Dell XPS Developer laptops are another good option.
Don't run Ubuntu; run Debian instead.
