According to Greshams law Bitcoin will never be used over the crypto. The incentive is to hoard it made worse because it is expensive to transact, non-private, and non-fungible Bitcoin makes for a much worse digital cash than Monero.
you are absolutely right in that way. Monero rivalize with lightning and liquid, dont have comparation with bitcoin. No reasonable person store value with monero or uses bitcoin to buy usual stuffs.

But Monero is much more private and anonymous than Liquid or Lightning. Liquid doesn't hide sender or receiver (only amounts) and is also custodial. Lightning has bad receiver privacy and doesn't have to be custodial but most uses it with permission (LSPs) or custodially so have even less privacy.
