We need to figure out how to put all of our nostr-related subscriptions in the same place. π€

throw them on a relay π
Please don't. Omnibus apps tend to suck.
All I want is universally better key management, as the Nostr protocol takes care of the data itself rather handily.
So, instead of an omnibus client, I think a better method if managing signing is imperative
Not an omnibus client, just a way to see all of it. I am paying for 12 things right now, all on different places. It would be nice to see all of it in a way that helps me pick options and balance the budget.
Oh... A spending dashboard, then. I can see how that would be useful, but also could be very dangerous if it is gathering all your spending data in one system. If that is compromised, that could be deadly.
It's already all in my key anyway...
Yes, but it is distributed through all those services requires some work to pull that info into one place in a cohesive format.
I could very much see building a standard payment receipt that can be used to track things, much like having standard citation formats in various scientific papers.
I disagree with putting too much effort into Catchalls. I want better event signing and key management.
feeds for all the things. blogs, podcasts, it should all be npubs putting out articles, etc
Also paid relays, blossom, ln nodes, mints, all apps, etc
Since clients donβt have a concept of relay sets for organizing public/private content is the move at this point creating multiple profiles? Seems counter to the promise of portable identities, but relays tied to identity is an unintentional blocker to better management of data sources.
We haven't solved that yet. But I think we will end up with several separate keys that represent each identity in a different app.
A standard for mapping npub > app > relays would be a really useful structure because you would be separating relays by concern while facilitating app discovery between users.
It's getting to be a task, especially when some convey reminders & some don't.
Yeah, ideally we normalize all that experience
I imagine it being either its own little app or something integrated into nostr connected wallets. Ideally actual subscriptions would just automatically show up there but the v4v or one-time payment stuff could be added manually or semiautomatically if it's searchable.
