I disagree. I tonk that the time and effort it takes to build a client should be rewarded monetarily. It's V4V as long as it doesn't get out of hand.

I’m mind donating to the cause but monetization of clients is not the way.

I'm not sure how else you'll get more people involved, especially with hosting relays, since data costs a good bit to store and send.

Relay hosting & client products are two completely different things imo.

Paid to use relays are fine & should probably encourage more but should not be mandatory.

More people should be running their own relays (myself included).

I see them as concomitant. There's no point to the relays without the clients. Clients wouldn't work without the relays.

No relays no nostr.

Definitely counts

Nobody wants to work for free.
