When does the season start? Is there an OTC tag?
Bow season is open now, rifle season will open October 26. Residents can buy over the counter elk tags (multiple) as well as draw for special permits. Some areas in Montana will have different sex regulataions. I am not sure about non resident tags, though I believe there are some tags that are over the counter for them as well.
