Yes, precisely — so many "feminists" don't agree with women chosing to stay at home. It's a strange phenomenon, women against women; women judging other women... It happens in so many circles/topics, not just in the SAHM debate.
In and before the mid-20th Century, SAHM was a societal default, so I understand the desire to break away from that, but in this day and age, staying at home very much an option, and in fact, often a privilege — like you say, the economy makes it harder than ever for single income households to exist these days.
