What if nostr had private groups?
Similar to private profiles or FB groups that could be private (or public if desired).
Could be done with a private relay, but for the masses, it would be awesome to be able to ditch FB because there’s the option to share just with encrypted groups, family circles etc. on Nostr.

Seems like this could be the type of thing that brings in the next wave of users if we can get private groups going.
This would take #nostr to the next level and potentially give a big boost to adoption.
But it’s not really pvt. It’s just about hiding your content from specific people.
Right now, #nostr feels most similar to Twitter, but there’s the potential to be the backbone of all social media.
It’d be awesome at some point to tell family they don’t need FB anymore because there’s a better option with encrypted privacy for family groups already built in.
I know we’ve got DMs but trying to think bigger than that with group management etc.
