What if nostr had private groups?

Similar to private profiles or FB groups that could be private (or public if desired).

Could be done with a private relay, but for the masses, it would be awesome to be able to ditch FB because there’s the option to share just with encrypted groups, family circles etc. on Nostr.

Wow. That sounds cool! I’m all about gift wrapping bunkers. That’s as much as I understood. 😂

Seems like this could be the type of thing that brings in the next wave of users if we can get private groups going.

This would take #nostr to the next level and potentially give a big boost to adoption.

I think it’s more about improving the current experience than fancy new features. It certainly would not hurt if done correctly!

For sure. Scope creep and bloat is a real thing, but done right, this would enable a lot of cool stuff with the protocol.
