The scientists in the fields you listed are literally paid to reach the same conclusions as each other, not to act as checks on one another.

That said, most people expressing contrarian views online would get completely wrecked if they tried to debate one of those scientists. Just because the fields are corrupted doesn't mean the people working in them don't know a ton and have responses to internet meme-level arguments.

As someone who worked right next to vaccine immunologists, no, they are not paid to reach the same conclusions. I wish, lmao!

Are there debatable business and public practices that can twist science? Sure. Do scientists sometimes make up data? Sure.

I’m speaking broad strokes about the fundamentals here, and calling out what I mostly see in the discourse online here.
