Maybe I’ve been living under a rock but what is the argument against nostr? Is it somehow against some version of the bitcoiner ethos?

read lyn alden's thread on twitter https://twitter.com/LynAldenContact/status/1626672094485307420 (ends in 420 HEH πŸ˜‹) and the takes are phenomenally bad. the most repeated argument is that the user experience here sucks

Lmao the iOS client has been out on the App Store for a few weeks, what do they expect. Bitcoin is like 14 years old and still isn’t the global monetary stand but I don’t see these people saying it’s DOA.

Truly. The parallels are unmistakable.

...which is by itself kinda ridiculous, i mean, when the main point of contention is "bad ui/ux" then your problem isn't with *nostr* itself which is a PROTOCOL but with how a single CLIENT interprets this protocol which somehow isn't working to your likings. don't like how the data is being displayed? use another client for crying out loud!!
