Laws exist to reflect something deeper…. justice. And true justice is not something people invent in a lab or vote into existence on a Tuesday in November. Justice is objective. It exists outside of us. We don’t create it, we discover it. Join me on today’s episode.

Discussion

If only I agreed with this. I'm sure its an interesting discussion though.

I’m ready to have it. 🍻

Cheers!

Interesting topic. I am not religious. I believe in separation of church and state. However, Muslims have already done the leg work on your episode’s thesis. It’s called Sharia law. I can only assume that you would fully support the full implementation of Sharia law in the United States.

My take:

No Gods No Masters 🇺🇸

It is good and right that we have separation of church and state.

However, Sharia law Views the state and religion as one….Islam is not just a faith, but a political and legal system. It stems from the Quran, Hadiths, and Islamic tradition…

So with ALL respect, my worldview would reject Sharia law.

There is a proposed development in Texas known as “EPIC City,” initiated by the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC). This planned community is intended to be a Muslim-centered neighborhood near Josephine, Texas, approximately 40 miles northeast of Dallas. This will be an interesting case study to see how this plays out.

Interesting.

I got the impression from your podcast that laws in the United States should be based on Christian conservatism.

I believe in freedom.

Do I believe a trans woman is a woman? No.

Do I believe a man should be able to “transition” to a “woman”? Yes.

Should I have to use that person’s preferred pronouns? No.

This is freedom. People trying to impose their personal beliefs on others is authoritarianism.

No victim, no crime.
