Why is it possible to add a BMW to the Home Assistant app? What can you do with that?

I'll tell ya if some one gives me a BMW.

Are you familiar with home assistant?

Yes, more or less. Mainly use Zigbee hardware, runs on old laptop. I don't have it pointed off my network at the moment.

You can sound the horn as an alarm clock to wake up the neighbourhood 😂

Fuck Lambo’s, BMW’s are the new Lambo’s from now on 😂

Who needs a Lambo lol, Tesla's have like tripple the home assistant options tho, but i'd rather drive an oldtimer

Same, by means of saying 😉

Hahaha! Anything useful too? 😅 bmw drivers are already known for being assholes haha

Control charging, remote heating / cooling etc. All kinds of cool stuff…

But it depends on the type of car you have right? I don’t see any heating options or anything

Yes off course, it isn’t magic 😉you must have a bmw that has remote connection options / app control that also support this. Don’t know how this is called for bmw’s, don’t have one…

I can see some things tho, like flash lights, sound horn. But no heating options. I was hoping I’d be able to control that too via HA.. too bad

I use the Tesla integration to automate my garage door when I’m pulling up among other things. It is useful.
