What job is AI taking away that you actually want to do?

Wait, people WANT to work their life away at jobs?

🤣

The problem is, let Ai do the things people(like me) could be doing... we'd(us replaceable skillless people) rather do w/e we want anyways...not content moderation, data verification/entry, building apps, etc etc the list doesn't end...

In 30 yrs, we've replaced underwater pipe welders with waterproof tesla bots that have their 6th arm as semi independent Ai Welding robots..

So, like....Why learn coding when I can work doordahing to afford to pay a company's Ai $250/mo to take "the best things" from Primal, Amethyst, Damus, etc and put them cleanly in my own app?

Shit, I need more money for servers etc....

Why even work?

To spend less time with friends and family?

To get taxed?

To keep the very system we're fighting, alive?

FUCK THAT!

This weekend will be 3 in a row of Blunts and Beaches! G/f is loving the change. My 4.5yr old is loving Lake Michigan. Soon the Motorhome will be permanently parked a mile off the coast!🥂🥳

Now how tf do I get out of paying $900/mo to own this trailer that's 2.5hrs away in 3yrs, then to pay $470 lot rent after owning...🤣

Maybe for some, work = creating a life envisioned?

50% of the people in the country barely work, and we see the state of their lives. Not working in a factory has to be replaced with something. It got replaced by nothing and society is a disaster.

I think we've been conditioned to believe AI is a real threat that will take over the world. I don't think humanity can be controlled that easily. You can't even get people at a town meeting to agree to do something. How is a computer "intelligence" that can't predict irrational behavior going to take over humanity?
