Bitcoin sovereignity is trending to 0!
How do you fix this?

what does AML compliance on exchanges have anything to do with bitcoin
Its not only to exchanges, didnt you read the document?
Markets will aslo need to have implemented measured to see if your bitcoin is tanted or not, and this is just the beggining
Where will you spend your self custody bitcoin? In dark web?
US exchanges have to send know-your-transaction data to analysis companies to meet regulation standards. Probably will make a lot of UTXOs unusable or less fungible in the future?
That’s not how UTXO work. Say there are five UTXO that BIS and canada say are banned. This five mix with 183,285,173 other UTXO over a year, all of which are identical sized UTXO at the end of the mix.
BIS going to ban them all? lol.
Hi Fake Clark, I hope you're right, but don't you think those chain ANALysis companies are doing something more sophisticated and can't determine when a UTXO has gone in and out of a mixer?
Even if the heuristic is false positive, will an exchange risk it for some pleb money?
So you are for the profits only? who cares about freedom or privacy, or whatever else ?
I must admit, I respect that. At least you're honest
I got into bitcoin because i liked that it could send money without any central authority. I also liked that it can be done pseudonymously. Thats about it. I didn’t know anything about monetary theory and i wasn’t using it as an investment vehicle.
I was giving 1 bitcoin away to everyone i knew, since it was only like $1 at the time.
I didn’t get into bitcoin for its privacy properties. I got into it because it was cool. I also realized there will not be 1000s of coins that people will be transacting in, only one coin will win, and it will be bitcoin.
So how's "transacting" in Bitcoin working out these days.
I’ve transacted in XMR and BTC. I’ve completed way more transactions on lightning than using Monero. I use a self-custodial lightning node. It’s not difficult at all.
Cool. What did you sell or buy? What's the name of the shop? What are the prices like?
I send receive zaps on NOSTR daily. I’ve bought hardware and services using bitcoin—too many to list. But a few are, cryptocloaks, mullvad, and NOSTR.build.
