I've watched the Fedi annoucement video and it's cool and well made and inspiring.
But still I have no clue about how Fedi the company is going to make money.
Maybe they'll use their earned reputation to build a Bitcoin bank? No idea, but I've always wondered how companies like that can go years without any monetization avenue. Do you have more clues than I have?

Seems to be fees on outgoing payments 😔
Can't support them if they require Google Play Services (which they do).
Have to be privacy focused, and GPS remains the antithesis of that.

Good question--partly because they are subservient to Google and don't want to anger them.
But if they're touting freedom and open source, and then turn around and say you need Google Play Services...well...it's pretty clear they're just pandering...
Do the right thing #Fedi - start truly supporting privacy by not using Google Play Services.
#GrapheneOS is putting pressure on Google--so should everyone in the open source community.
