this is why #nodelete is good and holds you accountable. if you make a mistake that's fine, you can always post again to show how your views have changed or been corrected. #nodelete encourages people to admit to their errors, own them, and become better.

I'm pro choice on the matter. If people don't want to delete they don't have to but the option should be available.

I get that, but also the permanence would really encourage over-self-monitoring before ideas see the light of day, and kill creativity by only publishing thoughts after they've been flushed out.
