The type of "discovery" Primal.net is heading for it important, the "global" feed is dog shit.
Not to mention once we 10X active accounts it will be unusable as a fire hose approach.

In Damus, you can select which relays to use when on global. This has worked well so far.
I don't want anyone to "curate" things for me. I only put the (paid) relays I want in global and that works great.
The people you follow are default curators. Choosing relays, clients etc. is self curation, doesn't matter if the relays are paid or not.
I intentionally only allow paid relays in my global feed.
Okay then you pay for curation, that is fine, it is still curation and you still gain curation from those you follow.
Wonder if you have even played with primal and even have any idea what I am talking about, doesn't seem like it. Because paid relays or not really doesn't change how it works.
Kind of seems like you don't like when someone disagrees with you. All I'm saying is the whole reason I'm here is to avoid censorship and algorithms that tell me what to look at. If Primal is a tool that picks users to put into a feed then I don't have any use for it. I want to be the arbiter of what I see on Nostr.
Like I said you don't understand what I am saying or what Primal's discovery is and does. It isn't an algo. It doesn't make choices for you.
I don't care if you disagree, I do care about people understanding what I am saying.
In this case though I am done trying. Willful ignorance is not a curable condition. 🤷
Wish there was a way to filter by language on global though.
I love that people from Japan and other countries are on but I have no idea what they’re saying lol
Language translation is being built into some of the apps
