The locomotive was really long and tall because it carried a lot of crap and people (who can’t sit all the time) across the country. This will do neither. Form needs to follow function, so this is DOA

"depression" era... Now we're ALL train engineers AND coach drivers! What happened to the service, the luxury, the quiet time before arriving at your destination... The 'letchric car companies KNOW we subconsciously want this again. That's why they're distracting us with less-than-gas battery ranges while they build rockets and tunnel boring machines for what we do not know yet... Perhaps it is a revival of the rail travel system, or maybe a hybrid of ballistic launch travel. Maybe we will be spin launched to our destinations. Does anyone know? Maybe it will be "The Fall" in that sci-fi movie with the black and white robot police armies... Maybe multiple hyperbolic/parabolic tunnel versions of the fall earth core tunnel elevator thingy. 🤷♂️
