I was digging in to Cashu the other day. It's a pretty amazing concept, and I would love to see it integrated with BTCPay Server too.

May need to look into this more

go try cash . me with a few sats

to start your nut journey

ah... funny thing

that is the one of the few clients that are not running the latest spec, so I recommend another.

eNuts is being updated and newly supported after the main dev had to take an extended haitus from the project. So it will be back, just not my recommendation of a client for right now.

cashu . me or nutstash PWA are full featured and will work your iphone

Will they work on Android?

yep

PWA is a Progressive Web App

will work on any browser, even your laptop, no app to download. Only do read the information at the start, if you clear your browser cache it will wipe the client and do a backup just like you would a lighthing wallet

Sweet thanks 🙏🏼, also can I use it with Nostr

yes but that is next level

first get used to ecash

then look into NWC and search nostr to see how others do it. But there are several ways and each have their own quirk.

I dont bother connecting the two to be honest, just made an npub.cash account and use that to collect any zaps I recieve

is npub.cash eCash wallet ?

"npub.cash uses Cashu-Address, a protocol built on Cashu and nostr. Cashu-Address allows a web server to provide Lightning addresses and mint ecash form the user's preferred Cashu mint. The user then redeems the ecash when they come back online."

its on the webpage

dont got time for nostr now, work calls. Enjoy the rabbit hole, tag me if you got more questions after your tried it out stu

Yes. It's a lightning facing eCash wallet, so you can receive to it via lightning, and your sats are stored as eCash.

You can then withdraw to an eCash wallet (like Cashu.me) and from there send sats via the lightning network.

Thanks so much
