➤ September alone: $67 billion borrowed

➤ 2% of the total value of the S&P 500

Every time margin debt has skyrocketed, a crash has followed:

📉 2000 → Internet bubble: S&P 500 -50%

📉 2008 → Subprime crisis: S&P 500 -56%

📉 2021 → Correction: -25%

📉 2025 → ???

There's more bitcoin based loans than ever before. Also bitcoin treasury companies can be purchased with leverage. So definitely yes this who have an effect.

This is in nominal terms would be more useful displayed as a percentage of s&p market cap. Of course it's higher, the money supply is larger.
