I would advice them to direct their marketing budget to sponsoring Nostr devs like #[2] does.

This would align the brand values they’d want to promote to the values of Nostr users.

Unfortunately few brands want to align with free speech and censorship resistance and would rather push ESG-approved values atm.

It’s a sad truth. Even though your idea would be mostly branding, I think this would help some brands reputation tremendously.

Sure, for more promotional actions brands could directly pay users for their attention. For instance by adding ads to zaps.

This is basically what I was initially thinking of!
