I'm not whining about it but I think one of the reasons nostr will take a long time to go mainstream is that it is often like shouting into the void, or an echo chamber with no echo.

Someone with a lot of followers can post a picture of dinner, or feet or a purple bird gets immediate attention and re-posts, but another person with less followers can post something of immense importance and not get noticed.

Its a conundrum that I'm not sure can ever be solved.

I think it's like most things that compete for network effect; growth looks stalled while it's pre-S-curve, and then one day it will explode. Just takes the right event to kick it off.
