A sats-based economy is not as sats-based at it seems, or desired.
People might point out how pricing a product in sats corresponds to a specific dollar amount, thus the conclusion is it's still dollar based.
Why is that? Because as much as we want to be on a #Bitcoin standard, a lot of things we interact with aren't, which forces us to still account in dollar terms.
Example: I make leather wallets (shoutout #[1]), I have to source the leather, knives, treatment materials, shipping materials. All these things priced in dollars, also to the second degree for how those source items are made.
Point of the post: the transition to all things Bitcoin is gradual. Just do your part to contribute to it in some way...and sell something for sats!
