Worse, worse employment rate, many violent incidents, but these are quite common around the world. What I believe is really bad in China is that there's a very strong tendency of Nazism among civilians + the peak of authoritarianism.

No ones knows for sure if what will the Chinese authority do. Everyone in China basically knows as much as anyone else in the world.
But if there is to be war, then the US intelligence will certainly spot some major military movements through the satellites, like what happened in Ukraine. I think that's the best shot to keep up with what's going on
