Since nostr communities didn't really took off, I take back all the shit I gave to hashtags, they are pragmatic and work.
If I don't follow you, here's some of my followed hashtags you can use so that I see your note:

nip29 fixes communities; a lot is being built in this direction
nip72 communities were always a bad idea and the nip itself is pretty bad
I'll have to look into it, thanks for letting me know! Regardless, hashtags are useful to find content from mastodon brigde accounts since they have the culture of using them accurately.
Iβm pumped for communities, my feeling was that UI/UX and tools needed to improve (like moderators getting notified), etc.
The potential to be better than Reddit is so high, canβt wait!
I guess NIP29 addresses this by declaring some first class kinds for topics and thread reply.
NIP72 suffered from the forced "moderation", limited implementations, and use of kind 1 for posts.
I am concerned by the bloat in NIP29 with all manner of rules for what relays should do for this NIP and restrictions on time of posted events. The way the relay is written seems to imply a customized relay implementation and front end. Maybe we just need the full plethora of common entities as kinds to mimic a traditional bulletin board.
