I think Damus was going to implement it a while ago? A lot of features Will builds though seem to get stashed away to focus on more important things

I don’t know if you can remove yourself from a thread, but muting threads on Damus client side is on my todo list.

Not to my knowledge. If you tap Replying to, you can modify who you reply to. But you can’t remove yourself.
