It’s insane that 18 year olds are given $100,000+ loans, not required to provide any plan for paying them back, & spend the money on (mostly) useless “liberal arts” degrees that are neither liberal nor arts.

Then the government forgives those loans to buy their votes, using money printed out of thin air.

A truly insane and perverted incentive structure designed to create generations of incompetent NPCs that will forever suckle at the fetid teat of the State.

Anyway, Happy St Patrick’s Day.

That’s a different topic though: personal and familial responsibility.

I’ve been using guns since I was a child. In addition to innumerable lessons from my father, I had multiple weeks of structured hunter’s safety classes. Not the case for everyone, but it was for me 🤷‍♂️

Yup. Same here. Just making a silly excuse for an inane law.

Only part I have issue with is that loans aren't eligible for bankruptcy. That's the real scam in all of this.

How is that the only part you have an issue with? Your ok with the rest of it?

Yeah because that check would solve the majority of the problems. Lenders wouldn't be giving away free money if borrowers had the legal ability to leave the debt. Governments wouldn't have debt to relieve if borrowers could leave the debt without them. Lenders wouldn't finance worthless degrees if they expected not to recover their investment from subpar earners.

Thank you for explaining further.

Forgiveness has been for those that have paid 10+ years on their loan last I saw.

Take loan, don't go, buy btc
