I usually put 2 tsp kosher flake salt per 1 lb of meat

I'm thinking the peppers in the pizza style brought out the saltiness more, since I had one of the BBQ packs and the taste was more balanced for me.

Either way, not complaining about the quality at all. It was as good as I said it would be, plus it's probably better for those on a keto diet to have salt compensate for the low sugar.

More salt on keto/low carb/carnivore is pretty much a requirement, yep. Electrolyte imbalance is one of the reasons people who feel terrible give up and go back to eating S.A.D., without realizing the easy fix is just adding a little more salt to their daily consumption...at least, in the beginning, when carb withdrawal symptoms can really mess folks up.
