They dropped those charges

C'mon now, you know that affected the judge because he allowed them to bring in all the "evidence".

You can’t sentence someone on charges that are dropped

You can sentence someone to the harshest extent possible based on whatever factors you like if you're a judge.

No there are sentencing limits and the judge has exceeded those imo
