People on meatcentric diets don't get scurvy because they don't need as much vitamin C as people on Western diets because glucose and Vitamin C compete for uptake in our cells! Look how similar they are!

Also, vitamin C is in beef but it's not listed in the USDA database because they never tasted for it. 🤦‍♂️

One argument for fruit because sailors started bringing citrus fruits.

I don't get it are you saying that the body gets glucose instead of vitamin c because it's similar?

Imagine 200 people trying to get into a movie theater but there's only 100 seats. Half of the people are glucose and half are vitamin C... so at least half the Vitamin C aren't getting in.
