People on meatcentric diets don't get scurvy because they don't need as much vitamin C as people on Western diets because glucose and Vitamin C compete for uptake in our cells! Look how similar they are!
Also, vitamin C is in beef but it's not listed in the USDA database because they never tasted for it. 🤦♂️
