Veterans day hits harder knowing what I know now about our monetary system.

Debasement doesn’t just hurt you today.

Nor your children’s future.

Nor spit on the graves of those who spilled their blood for our country.

We continually ask young men and women to stand up and answer the bell, to fight for freedom and ensure justice for all.

I answered. I stood. I fought.

for what?

As long as we print money, I have a really hard time justifying the nation asking that of anyone.

If you care about those who serve, start talking about debasement. Start asking how in the hell we just nodded along as those in power decided they couldn’t print money, debasing our very humanity.

If we don’t talk, our representatives have no opportunity to listen.

Given them the chance, and take note of their actions.

Enough.

The buck stops here.

Great post! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Firstly thank you for your service and putting your life on the line for love of God and country. That said, fiat money and central banking have created more conflicts that had little to nothing to do with defending freedom but everything to do with keeping the money printing central planners in power. A very bitter pill to swallow. Especially for those that lose family and friends over it. I don’t know what the answer is to this but definitely not the current status quo of central banks controlling the world.

Yeah, central banking is the foe.

Only one monetary system walks away.

I don’t know if bitcoin ends war.

But it’s not a stretch to say it dampens 99% of it.

That’s why i’m all in on bitcoin advocacy. We don’t have to wait generations, there is no principle preventing everyone on earth from adopting a bitcoin standard tomorrow. It’s possible.. And I want to make it real.

Absolutely true. Sometimes i actually think that BTC could be viewed as a practical implementation of what the 2A was supposed to be: a deterrent against gvt tyranny. Now that we have had a taste of central bank tyranny that requires trusting the untrustworthy, at a bare minimum having a monetary system that by default removes the need to trust a 3rd party for both issuance and movement of the money is a huge gamechanger. Godspeed on your endeavours to bring about a Bitcoin standard in the world.

Respect.

I feel the best way to honor those who served is to serve in kind. To fight corruption with all my life's force, my life savings, and to stop supporting a system I know to be unethical. Bitcoin gives me the freedom to do this.

Totally agree. Opting out with bitcoin is the only first step. We must pick up the shield against debasemnt. I am wrapping my head around there is no way around if we want victory, we also have to use bitcoin as a sword and put it to central banking.

It takes alot of swords to bring down this beast.

Is bitcoin not the shield as well as the sword? By shielding ourselves and our loved ones, aren't we starving the beast?

You are right; It is both, just different actions.

Hodling defends yourself against debasement.

Transacting with others attacks central banking.

you and I transacting won’t kill central banking, barely a scratch.

we need a lot more swords, we have to onboard people and alert them to what is being done to them and their families

my 2 sats

also hard to starve the beast when it feasts on 99% of the population

adoption/advocacy is key

Had similar thoughts on this yesterday as well. They thought WW1 would "end by Christmas". If the central bank hadn't been instated only a couple years prior maybe it would have, but it didn't.

yeah, the natural end of the conflict would have ran its course.

but no, there is money to be extracted
