Anyone has connectivity issues with relays on wifi, but not on cellular (difficulty connecting to relays when starting up) ? Is there a solution ? VPN is connected both on cellular and wifi, not sure if that has anything to do with it

All I can say is that I'm using less relays on my mobile client than my desktop client which seems to help with the apps speed on the phone.
I only use nostr on my phone. And only 8 relays. I don’t have a point of comparison with desktop
I think there might be something with wifi+vpn that the relays don’t like, maybe 🤷🏾
I have yet to be able to use Damus on iOS with tor/vpn on my phone on Wi-Fi/4g/5g 🤷🏻♂️
Really ? Only issue I have is wifi+vpn. Tor works fine for watch only wallets. Tried it with Damus a while back. Worked fine too
Yea same here cellular works better with relays for me, but i dont VPN my connection tho. I think its normal to have a slower speed with VPN routing.
Did some speed tests: Cellular with vpn I get 77mbps, without vpn I get 130mbps. Both are totally fine with Damus
Wifi with vpn I get 47mbps, without vpn I get 50mbps. Only one I have connectivity issues with is wifi+vpn. Speed difference is negligeable though 🤷🏾
Great info. So there seems to be unanimous positive feedback on cellular connection here. I reckon its cos wifi which is home/office internet is connected by fibre optics/wires, so latency/lag time is expected.
Sumthins up wit cell towers and/or internet connections today. Been slow all day
