Yup! Maybe give using Wireguard directly a try. You can use this tool to "whitelist" IP addresses so you can still route your LAN traffic.

Right now, that's low on my priority list. I have too many other things to do.

If it did, IT guys wouldn't have any work.
Also to be fair. I promise it shouldn't take very long to set up Wireguard on android with proton. I think they even use the QR code mobile method now. After that you just need to set those LAN IP's which you can do whenever you are ready.
