You said "Most NPCs can't imagine investing $1000 in an investment". They can just fine. Just not *your* investment.

to my original point, MOST people do not have $1,000 to invest in anything. We live in a bubble. Most people do not have 401k or "own" a home with a mortgage.

Well sure. In my world, they do to. But not for households that earn $50k/year.
