How does this #Amethyst inline lightning invoice generator stack up for simple POS business use at a market, say? IE if you paste the following into your lightning wallet, does it generate an invoice for you showing a kilo of potatoes with a ref number( for my bookkeeping records) and the amount (10 sats) for you to pay?

Seems like that worked fin for me using a Chromebook and a browser based lightning wallet, so I' say it works pretty universally 😃

Unlike my new keyboard 😞

I can't pay myself. Can you post a screenshot of what you see on the invoice. I'll pay you back. cheers Thsts assuming your keyboard can prompt a screenshot haha

Sorry the final screen disappeared to quickly after payment but this is the last one I caught.

This was the transfer screen just before it.

Oh I can go back and look at receipts in the history, so here it is. I use Speed wallet because it lives up to the name. I'm sure they all work the same way.

I don't think you can pay yourself!

A shame the note is scrambled, otherwise that definitely would do the job for a simple invoice.

I think it appears that way in all LN Wallets I've tried. Isn't it because it's not actually a record of the payment going through the blockchain, but rather a promissory note that it will be bundled into some future blockchain payment between the two holding wallets? I have a vague recollection of reading that somewhere. I think that might be how all off-chain payments work, give or take
