I just learned something that I would have never believed.

So I was reading about stress and trying to learn about things that help you cope with it better.

Apparently, one of the things that help you cope with stress better physically is: MARRIAGE.

I couldn't believe it since I've always seen marriage as a source of stress and heartache plus people always complain about marriage and how miserable they are.

When actually being married or in a long term stable relationship is actually better for your mental and physical health.

What can I say? I guess I've been doing this the wrong way lol.

What do you think guys?

I do not, in fact, think.

Therefore, I do not am.

lol!

Glad you have arrived here, but the key point here is "healthy" marriage. A dysfunctional or one sided marriage will definitely cause more stress in your life.

True! A healthy marriage is the key.

I think any meaningful, healthy social connection whether it’s friends, family, or a partner can be beneficial for coping with stress.

If marriage was really bad all the mega rich wouldn't be married.

True! You got a point.

Or marriage is detrimental, and individuals tend to invest their time and energy solely into their work, ultimately becoming incredibly wealthy.

Marriage is phenomenal and a gift.

Maaaaab! I miss you man!

Heyyyyy!! Sorry, I stayed offline for a little. Need to get back on here more regularly.

Marriage is a sacrament.

Commitment means to abnegate oneself to God.

Everything that is to be decided within marriage is to lead the one body, one flesh couple to God.

Read this encyclical by Pope Leo XIII, on marriage.
