Here for the ride and zaps ⚡️

Watching the livestream of the MIT Bitcoin Expo before getting ready to head out for the weekend. Super interesting! Happy to see Nostr represented!

American politics is the best reality TV show.

Do I get all the food and water that I want? Do I have access to a shower and my toiletries? I could do this easily as long as I was well fed and able to maintain my hygiene/beauty regimen. However, 1 Bitcoin wouldn’t be enough to buy a month of my life.

Congrats! Academia is not for the weak. It can be very rewarding but requires a ton of delayed gratification with no guarantee of financial payoff.

Looks like Nostr is getting more mainstream!

I’ve been revisiting Sade’s music this weekend. Love her music and her beauty.

Define “poor”. Also, do you think being rich or wealthy is a character defect?

ChatGPT probably thinks that it should be making ALL decisions for us.

It looks like the opioid crisis has finally made it to West Africa courtesy of predatory pharmaceutical companies. The African countries affected by this will never recover from this. Mental health and substance use is heavily stigmatized, and the public health systems are not in place to handle a crisis like this.

Spotify actually has a decent audiobook collection. A ton of bestsellers are available for free. They even have the Bitcoin Standard for anyone who is interested but hasn’t read the book yet.

Looks MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD is closer to becoming a reality. Despite the current administration’s negative view of the mental health system, there is a lot of interesting, groundbreaking research that has been ongoing, but is at risk of being halted. Hopefully, things are rectified, so patients can get the care that they need.

GM, I hope you have a great day, but this post seems like the antithesis of Nostr, which is about freedom of expression. Listening to good and negative feedback is necessary for progress.
