I want to put $10-$20 dollars’ worth of Bitcoin (ie generational wealth) away somewhere for a few family members who I know aren’t “ready” for the orange pill yet.

Best options to do this?

I’m leaning towards loading up a few Satscards from Coinkite and #[0] and stashing them somewhere safe for the next few years…

Good idea, would like to do the same. Following

Might be a fun use case for the Account field in the derivation path. You, account 0. Them, accounts 1, 2, 3, etc

Buy more and keep it safe yourself and give it to them later instead of asking them to keep track of $20 of Bitcoin

I know what you mean. I wouldn’t ask them to hold onto the Satscard though - I’d safeguard it myself until they’re ready.

I kind of like the idea of someday being able to say “I traded $20 for this” and be able to give them something of significantly larger “value” to make the point

I made my own “paper wallets” for my son and my nephews. I send some there each month.

warning to sweep not spend paper wallets, because they have no change address

This is exactly what I've done.
