Good question. Have never seen a truly convincing answer to this question.
Wouldn't it be limited by how many and reliable relays there are.
I am just asking questions definitely dont have the anwsers
Relays are essentially nodes , if there aren't enough or the ones available aren't reliable it will slow down to a point where it's unusable.
People hosting relays are the hero's here that's why paid relays will be essential but it's a double edged sword at the same time.
Thank you for your awnser thats my concern basically at scale whould it just centralize again because so few can afford to run a relay
Well big business could in theory set up the majority of nodes and then it would be centralised but that's why supporting the little guy building in his spare time will become essential here
