Nah I know 🫂🫂 I think I’d be possibly be healthier but honestly I have barely ever drunk anything, never smoked, accidentally got high on cold medicine and a balloon once and I occasionally eat not great snacks 🥹 I think unless I get hit by a bus (or something else non health related) I’m gonna be around a little longer than I want to (I’m not super healthy or anything, but its likely) 🫂 Also meat always tasted funny to me. Even as a kid. Drove my mum mad but I didn’t like to eat it. I should say it’s for ethical reasons and that’s partly true, but it’s mainly for selfish reasons 🫂🫂 but everybody’s different I suppose 🙏🏽 what works for one might not work for the other

I can’t tell you the last time I ate any chicken, it all seems to not have any taste. But a hunk of some grass fed beef or pasture raised pork, yes please lol. We tried some local wagyu a few months back (heavily grain fed beef) and even my oldest daughter left it sitting on her plate, while normally she’s picking out the meat and leaving the rest.
All that to say, it may be worth trying to find some local grass fed beef and pork, or even chicken, just to give it a shot and see if it makes any difference in the “funny taste” you referred to. There’s also some theories out there that you shouldn’t be eating all kinds of stuff from other places, because those plants don’t have the same circadian rhythms and the nutrient profiles from those other places may not be what’s needed in your area. Not sure how much credence I put into that but it is something I consider. I’ve not managed to find a local cattle farm I can make work with our schedule so most of our beef comes from Aldi.
