So should the tech improve so it can be easier?

Or should people be more knowlageble about how to running a Lightning Node.

Another question: Will it ever come that "anyone" can run -and manage- their own lightning node, or will we always be dependant on custodians?

I think most people will use custodians, many people disagree with me on this point, they are wrong tho

Only the most hardcore bitcoiners will run their own nodes, and this is ok imo

I am not sure how they could disagree with you.

If we are talking about true mass adoption self custody bitcoin on lightning does not scale to the world.
