I'm so tired of people who just talk and talk blah blah blah... and don't even move a finger.

What are you doing to advance Bitcoin?

If you think you have to be a developer to contribute, you are wrong.

What can you do as a non-dev?

Teach. Bitcoins challenges aren't technical, they are social.

Learn what Bitcoin is, how it works; then create your own community. If you need help, here is an open-sourced course about communities and meet-ups: https://planb.network/en/courses/btc302

Then spend time for you: your strategy / plan, your multi-sig, etc... And especially your friends and family.

Finally, go further: website, events, worldwide projects, shops, etc...

We can't do everything alone. That's also stupid to spend 100% of our time to advance Bitcoin.

However, the more we can, the better it is for us and next generation. But do not forget to live...

There are many ways, it's easier to apply in bitcoin what you know or what you love to do.

There are many projects that do not have enough funds to finance themselves and volunteering is a good way to advance bitcoin, simply offering your human resources for what they need, not everything is programming, even developers need help.

Go to bitcoin jobs, stacker news. You can do many things from telling the person who serves you at the coffee shop if they accept bitcoin, to volunteering in a project, whether as a designer, translator, organizer, handing out flyers, bring together your local community, meetups, education, conference, there are very easy to use tools to get a business to start accepting bitcoin, there is one bitcoin PoS that gives you commission for onboarding merchants. Anything is valid, just try to see how you can contribute.

Spread the word among friends and family, help them in their bitcoin journey, it is easier to talk to people about the current problems and difficulties that we are all having in these times, they will agree with you and that is where you introduce bitcoin. bitcoin is the solution, and the solution goes always at the end. You can’t give out the answer without the question first.

To be honest, I'm not this kind of guy who spend his time to expend about what he achieved. However: yes, I did advance Bitcoin.

Indeed, I spent hundreds of hours creating open-sourced talks and videos about everything I know about Bitcoin (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVkpvudLgb2k-7dC2axeM_NBGgDLz7aKJ&feature=shared).

I spent dozens of hours writing flyers about why Bitcoin is a revolution and why it should be accepted in businesses (https://profedustream.substack.com/t/articles-and-flyers).

I spent hundreds of hours too talking to people about Bitcoin's security, Bitcoin's protocol, Lightning, and so on... during meet-ups I'm trying to develop as much as I can.

I do think that one day, someone will tell me:

"Hey man, who are you? I don't know you. What did you do in Bitcoin?"

The more important thing is that I will be able to say: "Even if I'm a pleb, I did everything I could to advance Bitcoin."

PoW 👏👏👏 you have done a lot, fantastic, I thank you, keep humble, we don’t want recognition, we do things for the greater good. Just look Satoshi.

That's what I'm talking about, applying skills according to each person's abilities to advance bitcoin.

It's about everyone contributing their grain of sand.
