Hey, I like the the concept of what you are building with GLOK. But what is the point of this video?

Don't get me wrong, the technique shown here is decent (at least the bump, trap and roll part). But what can people actually take away from this video? Two options:

1. Nothing, they watch it and forget about it 5 Minutes later.

2. A false sense of security. They watch the video a few times and memorise the technique. When it comes to anltercation they think "everything is fine, I can always get away". But then they get pinned to the ground and the technique doesn't work, because the context has changed. Maybe the attacker only uses one hand to post, maybe he is driving into her making the hip bump ineffective.

The thing is, that the viewer has only memorised a specific technique that works in a specific context. But combat is chaotic, positions change and people react to your movements. If you truly want to learn how to escape positions like these you can't just memorise a set of movements. You have to understand why the movents work, so you can andjust when the conditions change.

Ideally you find someone knowledgeable to train with in person, so they can give real time feedback. But if you need content and just want to repost stuff from Instagram and YouTube, there is better stuff out there that actually explains why the technique works.
