It depends on what you mean by "endure".

I always look to Jesus as the guiding exsample. He endured all kinds of disrespect during his crucifiction, because he knew that this was the only way to bring about our salvation. But at other times during his ministy he had very strong reactions to disrespect. Such as when he cursed the Pharisees or drove out the merchants from the temple.

So I think if you're being disrespected you should ask yourself: Does it serve god and my neigbour, if I let the disrespect continue. Or is it an insult to god and myself as an image bearer?

Longer note. Got a draft of the peaking program I'm designing fleshed out. But I'm open to suggestions and critiques to make it as well planned as possible. So I'll be posting it in case anyone wants to take a look at it.

Most of the accessory exercises have TBD for their loads. This is to enable some agency for my friend. Let him pick the appropriate load for the target rep ranges since he has a better sense of where he is for the those. Also, accessory exercises were chosen to enhance how he already squats and benches (no need to change what already works).

Just sharing a simple observation from my own life.

Maybe someone out there can relate.

When I lived on the fiat standard, my sleep followed someone else’s rhythm.

8-6. Dinner.

Workout/Self development.

Say GN to the baby.

Sleep early.

Recover well so I could perform again the next day.

Rinse and repeat.

Time and energy were scheduled around external demands.

Since living on the Bitcoin standard now for about three years…something quietly changed.

My body slowly rooted back into nature.

I healed.

My sleep is no longer forced.

It’s responsive.

Most days I sleep 4–6 hours.

Often split into two phases.

I go to bed when the sun goes down. Very early.

Then I wake up around midnight fully awake, clear, energized.

Sometimes I sleep again for a few hours till sun rises…

when my body asks for it.

Sometimes I don’t sleep at all.

Like tonight.

And yet I’m wide awake.

Focused. Full of energy.

It feels as if energy comes from somewhere else now…

not from “recovery for productivity,” but from alignment.

I feel happier & healthier.

More myself.

Not because I sleep less but because I sleep on my own terms.

Just an observation.

I hope you get a really good rest tonight…the kind your body truly wants& needs.

When I was trapped in fiat, I saw my daughter on average 7min/day.

Something inside me always knew that something was wrong.

Other humans called me successful because I successfully chased titles, fiat, and power.

But I never felt successful.

Those fiat trophies never meant anything to me.

I just executed because that’s what I was told to do.

Until I became a dad.

That was the moment my eyes opened.

Not Covid.

Not even Bitcoin.

Becoming a father made me realize I wasn’t present for my daughter…

just like my father wasn’t there for me.

That realization hit hard.

That was the moment I knew I was off track.

I’m grateful I found a way out…

Interesting, I've heard about people spliting up their sleep into shorter Intervalls to boost productivity. But they have to maintain a strict shedule to exactly catch the rem phases. Seems like you are so in tune with your body, that it found a way to self regulate your sleep. Impressive.

No #btclift challenge this week, because I am down with the sickness. Nothing serious, just a cold that I am trying to recover from before Christmas.

Great deadlifting session today. Tried out a new preworkout and it's a heavy hitter. Finally pulled 440 for the first since my diabetes diagnosis. Back off set was at 385x4. Finished with a set of snatch grip deadlifts at 335. Those were at a much more appropriate load than last time.

Guess 475 is the goal for the end of the year. We'll see how that goes before I start working towards 500.

Great to see the strength coming back

I Imagine it's hard to find the sweet spot. With Duolingo I have the feeling that I could just say whatever and still pass the exercise. Which is not ideal for learning, but I have the feeling that they value user retention over the actual learning effect of the lessons anyway.

I think that's what he meant by "has been powerless to prevent it". Functionally democracies and republics are the same. If the people care about their rights, they will strive for a government that recognises these rights. If not, then they won't care if the government ignores the constitution. If you want to build a system that is independent of the mobs opinion, then you can't rely on a piece of paper.
