I never used to like mushrooms but some of the more exotic varieties that I can get at the farmer’s market here taste better and from what I’ve read seen to have some good nutritional properties so I now have them usually with steak 2-3 times a week. I’m not a fan of yoghurt but I also started drinking kombucha for the probiotics which seems to help a lot with some gut issues I had in the past.
I haven’t tried tallow yet but I found out that a local butcher has just started selling it so I am planning to get some.
I actually felt terrible for a couple of days when I first cut back on sugar which kind of showed me how bad the addiction was! I haven’t cut it out completely and still eat sweets occasionally but I definitely try to minimise it now.
