If you fund,wipe, but then restore/rebuild your nunchuk/tapsigner setup after restoring… is it then considered a hot wallet? Just playing around with it. Anyone know?

Yes that's right. This is one of the trade-offs of a tapsigner vs the Coldcard

Well that only happens you restore from the backup password instead of the Tapsigner itself, no?
