I enjoy the beach like everyone else. The waves, the sand, the breeze, all great stuff. However if you think about it from a macro perspective, zoom way out, and you observe these humans on a semi-annual cycle, packing up their families into all manner of transport, stressing out and traveling for hours or even days just so they can reach the edge of their continent where they sit down at the edge. It’s got to look pretty strange to the aliens. “You said they do what?
