The dog piling I see about people setting up a LNURL really annoys the shit out of me. Especially when it's some new person who doesn't even know how nostr works to begin with.
Give them time to feel comfortable with the protocol and once they feel comfortable enough they can start exploring lightning if they want to.
I get that people want to tip people and that's great but if you dog pile every new user about bitcoin i guarantee that turns away a lot of people.
it's hard. we want to help so people can get the full nostr experience and zaps are a huge part of that experience. plus we want people to use bitcoin. it's a double whammy, but it can be a bit overwhelming if someone is completely new.
Once I got my LN node up and figured out a way to get an lnurl of my own ill 100% agree that my nostr expreince changed for the better. I love using bitcoin and love being able to thow some sats at good info. But I was already a rabid Bitcoiner from the get go. 😅
