I honestly don't remember signing a ToS for Primal, Damus, or Coracle or any of the other really early apps but that may be because I was on those apps when they were in Alpha. I haven't tried out a new nostr client in a long time so I have no idea what the landscape on that even looks like.
I know I haven't been given a "request to update" to sign now that I have been on them for awhile. Interesting.

It sounds like the FUD we've heard for years concerning Bitcoin. It usually comes from the people developing some snake-oil alternative (AKA shitcoin).
Only one I've seen is amethyst
Zap.stream is the only one I know of that requires a tos, lol and it doesn’t work
